06/03/2015 Corrections have been made to the numbers and proportions of prisoners with prior imprisonment in Table 8, in the data cube "Prisoner characteristics, Australia". In addition, corrections have also been made to mean and median aggregate expected time to serve data in Tables 10, 11 and 12 in the data cube "Prisoner characteristics, Australia" and Tables 25 and 28 in the data cube "Prisoner characteristics, states and territories". Commentary and graphs have been replaced for the following pages; "Prisoner characteristics - prior imprisonment", "Prisoner characteristics - sentenced prisoners", "Prisoner characteristics, states and territories - sentenced prisoners" and "Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander characteristics - sentenced prisoners".

13/06/2014 Corrections have been made to imprisonment rates in Table 2, in the data cube "Prisoner characteristics, Australia" and to the age standardised and crude imprisonment rates in Tables 15, 17, 18, 19 and 20 of the data cube "Prisoner characteristics, states and territories". Corrections relate to state and territory, and national imprisonment rates.

24/04/2014 New information has been released providing statistics about federal offenders (prisoners and parolees) under the authority of corrective services agencies as at 30 June 2013. The data cube presents information for New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory. The data cube presents statistics on sex, age, Indigenous status, country of birth, aggregate sentence/order length and offences of federal offenders.
